I was looking for a easy to understand guide that could help me explore and inform me on the multiple options for my lower back and knee pain. Dr. Mirchandani's book provided me exposure to new treatments that were unique from the endless unsuccessful recommendations that were the reult of a rollercoaster of NSAIDs and other narcotics. Treating joint pain was a great wealth of knowledge and introduced me with some key pieces of data that helped me have a relevant conversation with my doctor about the benefits of PRP and regenerative medicine.
Amazing book! I was looking for a source of practical and useful information on treating joint pain because there are so many therapies out there. This book offers information from a physician on cutting edge, evidence-based therapy that is quite easy to ready for a layperson. After reading the book I was convinced this was the right treatment for my mother who was dealing with knee pain for years. PRP made a real difference in her symptoms. I highly recommend this for any person suffering with joint pain or arthritis.
Dr. Mirchandani is the real deal. As a patient I can personally vouch for his expertise. This book is clearly written and explains a complex problem like joint pain in a logical, easily accessible manner. Highly recommended to anyone considering PRP or just suffering from joint pain.

As a physician, I constantly have patients ask me about PRP (platelet rich plasma) and other non-pharmacologic treatment options for pain. This is a fantastic book which addresses and explains some of these options in a simple but very informative way. I think that all patients should be armed with this knowledge before making decisions regarding their musculoskeletal pain/issues. A must have for the informed patient!
As an owner of a wellness clinic I have been explaining the importance of using platelet-rich plasma for regenerative purposes and how it is superior to the steroid injections they are taking, the narcotics, or other remedies which can sometimes make their health worse, sometimes even leading to unnecessary surgery. I'm glad that now I have book that I can give them that will explain how to manage pain naturally with growth factors from their own body. This is a must read book for anyone that wants to actually treat the underlying cause of their pain vs just masking it with pharmaceuticals and steroid injections.
